Are created from our egos

It's in our blood
To be powerful

To bond and conquer
To lead and to follow
And to fake ourselves in order,
To be likeable 
To have influence
So we can feel: proud

As a person
We all are evolving
We want to build relationships
We want to sync, to connect
We want our opinions to be listened
We want to tell stories, like it is the most important story that has ever been told.

And it is in our genes too, to be cocky
In order to make the other human jealous for everything we have (for now).
So we learn to hate the differences
And to love the similarity

What is the point really, to show off those things?
Is this just a phase, a modern internet era?
Or will it stays forever?
